It has been a very exciting few days for us all here @ Hartes & Firecastle as our owner Paul Lenehan celebrated his inauguration as President of Restaurant Association of Ireland on Monday night with his family at the fabulous Mount Juliet Estate in Kilkenny.  Pauls term as president will run for the next 2 years!  Congratulations & best of luck Paul!

On Tuesday we had the pleasure of welcoming the 2018 Rose of Tralee contestants to Hartes! The Roses enjoyed a tour of County Kildare, hosted by Kildare Failte, the county’s tourism board. The day featured visits to Celbridge, the Kildare Round Tower, Solas Bhride, the K Club and Kildare Village with the Roses taking part in turf cutting, brown bread making and Sean Nós dancing at Lullymore Heritage Park.
