“Was recommended to try here and glad we did. Good layout and can eat in bar of bistro area. We chose bistro. Seafood chowder was beautiful. Other dishes were pate and a corned beef dish. All good portions. We shared a chocolate tart. Very good quality, great service and incredible value at 28 Euros for a hearty lunch.”

We wanted a light meal and chose to share a soup and entree at the bar. The potato cheddar soup was velvety smooth and luscious. The vegetarian entree was a superbly complex combo of flavors with grilled havarti cheese, roasted beets, steamed broccoli and falafel on top of a curried yogurt sauce. The rest of the menu was equally sophisticated and given a chance, I’d eat my way through it.
Great food, helpful and friendly staff. Having travelled from Dublin and been caught in traffic which seriously delayed our journey to Cork we called in on the off chance just as service was finishing on a busy night but we were made very welcome, so much so we went back a week later and were not disappointed by the excellent food and friendly staff
